Learn to turn an idea into a specified, designed, AI-implemented, verified, deployed, secure, and maintainable software system, and to explain the decisions behind it. For aspiring developers, students, entrepreneurs, product builders, engineers adopting AI coding tools, and technical professionals moving toward architecture. No programming experience is needed to begin; later chapters develop software literacy through an AI Learning Coach project. Follow the beginner or experienced-engineer pathway in chapter 1. Reading estimates exclude setup, exercises, and building the capstone.

Before you start

No programming experience needed to begin; later chapters develop software literacy through a running project.

Start with an AI coding tool and a way to save project versions. Later exercises introduce a code editor, Git, a database, and deployment services. Some AI and hosting services may charge; set a budget before connecting them. Reading estimates exclude setup, exercises, and project work.
